Put Your Best Smile Forward
At our office, Dr. Michael DiCarlo, Dr. Rosanna Santini, and Dr. Young Cho specialize in making smiles beautiful with cosmetic dental treatments. If you’re feeling self-conscious about your smile, the Dental Health Center of Holmdel is here to help. No cosmetic issue is too big or too small for our team, and nothing makes us happier than to help our patients gain confidence in their smiles.
With professional take-home teeth whitening treatments, you’ll get stellar results in the comfort of your own home. First, we will create a custom-fitted set of whitening trays made just for your smile, and one of our dentists will provide you with professional-grade whitening products. Use your trays and whitening solution as instructed, and you’ll start to see results within weeks!
Traditional In-office whitening is done by your dentist at the Dental Health Center of Holmdel. When you come in for your appointment, we’ll prepare your teeth and gums, then apply a powerful whitener to your enamel. This solution will then be activated with a UV light. By the time you leave our office, your smile will be up to 10 shades brighter!
During our in-office treatments, we offer UV whitening. UV light helps excite the peroxide molecules that whiten your teeth, boosting the efficiency of your whitening treatment.
For patients with small chips, misshapen teeth, or severe discoloration, dental bonding is a quick way to correct these issues. During treatment, a tooth-colored resin will be applied directly to the areas of your tooth that you would like to improve. Then, one of our dentists will sculpt and shape the resin to enhance the overall shape and color of your tooth.
Enameloplasty is also often used alongside dental bonding. During this part of the procedure, one of our dentists will gently remove a thin layer of enamel from your teeth to correct problems like pointed or uneven teeth. This gives you a more appealing, even smile.
Veneers are thin shells of tooth-like porcelain, and they are designed to cover up the front surfaces of your teeth to improve their appearance. They are attached to your existing teeth after a small amount of enamel has been removed. Veneers can cover up a wide variety of imperfections such as stained, uneven and misshapen teeth. Veneers require little special care after treatment, and they typically last 10-15 years with proper care.
If you have multiple cosmetic issues that will require more than one treatment, this is known as a cosmetic makeover. During your cosmetic consultation, we will go over all of your options and develop a treatment plan to fit your needs. We take a communicative approach to every treatment at the Dental Health Center of Holmdel, so you will always know what to expect. Take the first step to the smile of your dreams and book an appointment with us today!
