Whether they’re smiling because they’re very happy with the work that was done or they are showing off their new attention-grabbing smile, we’re happy and confident that those smiles will remain. Our practice of general dentistry for adults and children specializes in aesthetics and advanced restorative dentistry using the latest state-of-the-art technology with all dental treatments carefully planned in order to repair the effects of tooth decay, trauma, defect or disease while extending the life of your teeth.
FULL MOUTH RESTORATION
When extraordinary or severe conditions occur that threaten to put your whole mouth and well-being in jeopardy, our highly trained and experienced dental team work together to restore your smile. Using the most advanced research, proven procedures, and cutting-edge technologies in dental medicine, our top-notch team of dental specialists join with your primary DHC doctor to diagnosis the cause and develop a comprehensive treatment plan for your individual case.
After an initial consultation and thorough examination, a comprehensive, step-by-step treatment plan is developed that might include any number of treatment options including ceramic crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays or bridges; traditional braces or Invisalign teeth straightening for optimal teeth positioning; gum therapy or recapturing; the placement of implants to replace missing teeth; or, bone or soft tissue grafting to stabilize your teeth or other restorations.
Missing teeth not only diminish the beauty of your smile; they can activate bone loss and shift your remaining teeth, leading to serious problems. Dental implants provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth and restore your confidence to eat, speak, smile and live with more enjoyment. Custom-fabricated to complement your surrounding features, they prove the most natural-looking results possible while helping to preserve facial structure and prevent the bone deterioration that occurs when teeth are missing.
The dental implant procedure begins with the preparation of gum tissue and bone area where the implant will be placed. In some cases, when there is insufficient bone structure, bone grafting may be required. The dental implant is fixed to your jaw using a titanium alloy implant or anchor, which integrates with the bone and gums. It can take from three to six months for the gums and bone to completely grow around the anchor of the dental implants, resulting in the permanent hold of the anchor by the bone. The replacement tooth or teeth (“crowns”) are fabricated and applied and then fitted to the titanium post. CEREC technology is used to produce a tooth-like, custom-fit ceramic crown in just ONE OFFICE VISIT.
Cracked, stained or damaged teeth detract from your dental health and from having a great smile. A dental crown covers, or caps, a tooth to restore it to its normal shape, appearance and size. Crowns can restore teeth when there isn’t enough tooth remaining to provide support for large fillings, or to attach bridges, protect weak teeth from fracturing, restore fractured teeth, cover badly shaped or discolored teeth, and cover dental implants. Using CEREC technology, we are able to fabricate your custom-fitted color-matched, ceramic, metal-free crowns in just ONE OFFICE VISIT—with no impressions and no temporary crowns.
INVISALIGN TEETH STRAIGHTENING
Invisalign is a series of removable, clear plastic aligners, custom-fit to promote teeth straightening. No bands. No brackets. No wires. No traditional metal braces. The invisibility and comfort of Invisalign means most people won’t even notice you are wearing them, which makes Invisalign a great alternative to metal braces for adults and older teens. Full treatment typically takes less than one year. The aligners can work to correct overly crowded teeth, widely spaced teeth, crossbites, and underbites. Customized, comfortable, and virtually invisible, Invisalign allows for you to enjoy the many benefits of a better smile even before the completion of treatment.
