Laura A. Bridges, DMD
Founder and Principal
Dr. Laura Bridges believes the most rewarding aspect of her practice is seeing how the level of dental care provided at DHC has made such a positive impact on her patient’s lives.
As a little girl, Dr. Bridges knew she was going to grow up to be a dentist. Throughout her life, she was presented with several opportunities to pursue other careers, but she was and has remained passionate about her calling to provide the best compassionate dental care to her patients.
Dr. Bridges enjoys getting to know her patients through careful, thorough examinations. She is excited to help her patients achieve the healthiest and most beautiful smiles.
The Dental Health Center of Holmdel utilizes the latest dental science techniques and offers state-of-the-art technology including microscopes for microdentistry, digital radiography and intra-oral computer imaging.
Dr. Laura Bridges, together with her colleagues, Dr. Rosanna Santini, Dr. Vivian Graham and Dr. Norachai Phisuthikul practice general dentistry with a concentration on aesthetics and advanced restorative dentistry. The doctors share a professional philosophy that is based on advancing the quality of comprehensive dental care by offering the latest development in dental technology together with an ongoing commitment to advanced education. The doctors devote more than 100 hours per year to continuing dental education, including course work at the prestigious Pankey Institute.
Dr. Bridges is a 1987 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. She began her dental career as a dental hygienist, having received her A.S. degree in 1981 from the same university. She founded the Dental Health Center of Holmdel in 1990 as a family practice where special pride has always been taken in the management and care of children and adults of all ages.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bridges' interests are predicated on her sense of adventure, entrepreneurial spirit, and loving devotion to her children, Christian (19) and Michelle (18). Christian is studying math and physics as a sophomore at Duke University and Michelle is a freshman at Franklin & Marshall College pursuing chemistry studies with her sights on becoming a dentist. As a high school senior, Michelle spent a full year studying CEREC dental technology for her Capstone Project - an ambitious inauguration to the study of dentistry.
Dr. Bridges is a partner in two business ventures and is also a motivational speaker. Having recently taken up flying lessons, she also enjoys playing golf and tennis with her children and walking with Apollonia and Esmeralda. She is also a two time participant in the NYC marathon.
